- I also experienced this and although I cannon remember exactly I believe
- that the problem you describe is present when using dblpal and dblntsc
- with the vgaonly driver in devs. If you use dbl modes without vgaonly you
- can get up to 720 wide screens but hi res pointers go silly between 704
- and 720. With vga only the screen size is limited to 704 wide in visible
- size but can be stretched to 720 leaving a band (704 - 720) in no mans land.
- The computer thinks it's displayed so won't scroll the sreen but the monitor
- driver won't display it.

- or remove vga only and have a quirky pointer at the right
- of the screen.
